Taylor started strong and sustained it throughout the bout though he lost a point in 6th round when he hit his opponent after the bell rang to end the bout. The 90 day prison cell ordeal of Floyd Mayweather Jr. will hopefully humble him and start to think that he can’t have everything in life. The 90 day jail term of Mayweather Jr. is believed to be a light one. Some say Floyd deserves more. But Floyd’s being put to jail is just a start of his difficult situation as a boxer because afterwards, he is not sure if Nevada State Athletic Association (NSAC) five-member committee will give him a license to fight considering that he pleaded guilty of domestic violence. Meaning, he used his licensed fist to punch his girlfriend Josie Harris.

When promoter Bob Arum announced last week Manny Pacquiao’s next fight would be against “Sugar” Shane Mosley on May 7 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, criticism came down hard on Arum.

Some experts wrote it is a bad fight for boxing because Mosley is 39 and has not looked good in his past two fights – a one-sided loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and a less-than-impressive draw against Sergio Mora.

It’s been further noted the only reason Mosley got the fight instead of Juan Manuel Marquez – who has a draw and a narrow loss against Pacquiao – was because Arum doesn’t want to do business with Golden Boy Promotions because of his ongoing feud with the Oscar De La Hoya-owned company.
