HP PalmPad – Tablet PC based on Powerful Palm WebOS Soon

hp palmpad webos tablet pcTablet PC is fast becoming an affordable gadget nowadays with more players joining the mix. Hewlett Packard or HP for instance is coming-up with PalmPad which is a registered trademark based on WebOS Tablet. HP joined Asus in dropping Windows 7 to be the OS of their respective devices soon to be available in the market. We can no longer see HPSlate Tablet PC based on Windows 7 as earlier announced. Instead, we’ll see soon HP Hurricane which is based on Palm WebOS initially said to be available in June but redated due to still due still unknown reasons.

Todate, we might not see HP Hurricane, instead HP PalmPad because the later is the registered trademark based on Palm WebOS. Double minded HP? Seemingly because the announced HP Tablet based on Google’s Android is put on-hold similar to a device supposedly based on Windows 7 OS. Google’s Android is considered to be the most popular Tablet PC OS though it’s not the best option as far as I know.

HP does not need an advise for they surely know that PalmPad must be made available in the market the soonest possible time in time for the gift-giving Christmas season particularly in Asia. Asus, Dell and Lenovo already announced the launching of their respective tablet devices which is last quarter of this year.

Palm WebOS is considered to be a powerful platform to build tablet PCs delivering great experience for the end users yet affordable. It is noted that consumers are now becoming price conscious why is no longer a suprise due to slow recovery of the world’s economy particularly in regions where there are still numerous number of developing nations.
