GMA’s interview with Annie Yap has resulted into a pain-to-pain reactions. The content of Mrs Annie Yap, mother of James Yap was a statement of mother in pain and is hurting. Annie Yap had mentioned in her interview with “Showbiz Central” that she was upset because Kris was putting the blame on James for their marital troubles.
Annie Yap’s comments on Kris
“Ang lahat ng kasalanan binubunton niya (Kris) sa anak ko. Sana naman huwag naman kasi hindi naman tayo perfect, di ba? Ang Diyos lang ang perfect,” Annie said. “Kung may kasalanan ang anak ko, siguro natural naman sa mag-asawa ang mag-away. Pero huwag naman lahat ibunton sa anak ko. Malungkot talaga ako. Naa-awa ako sa anak ko.”
Kris stressed that she has never mentioned or said anything that would discredit James yap because James is his son’s father.
Kris Aquino’s answer to Annie Yap’s statements
“Para na lang sa anak namin tatahimik ako. Sana, paulit ulit kong sinasabi, na sana maging magkaibigan tayo. Sana maging maayos ang lahat, gawin nyo din. Gagawin namin ang lahat to be as decent as possible kasi nga kapakanan ng isang 3-year-old na bata,” Kris said.
Kris’ appeal to Annie Yap
“Mapapanood po ‘yon ng apo ninyo at some point in time kasi nasa Internet na. Nanay po niya ako. Kahit anong gawin ninyo, lumabas siya sa sinapupunan ko. Ako po ang magpapalaki, ako po ang magsusumikap para maitaguyod si Baby James. Masakit po para sa akin na ‘yong apo po ninyo sisiraan ang nanay niya sa kanya. Kasi magkahiwalay po man kami, kadugo ninyo pa din ang anak ko,” Kris said.
“Magsakripisyo na ako, manahimik na ako, magpakumbaba na ako. Handa kong gawin ‘yon dahil ganoon ko kamahal ang anak ko. Sana po kahit konting pagmamahal bigyan niyo rin ang anak ko,” she concluded.
Well, i am a mother also and knows how it feels to have your children mistreated. I believe Annie yap’s comments were just her way of expressing her disappointments. As a mother, she is the person hurt the most of her son’s misery. I also understand Kris. It really is a hard thing to accept if your mother-in-law disliked you even from the start but that was her family’s reaction also. There’s no need to elaborate all the Kris-James differences.
My opinion on their situation, maybe it’s but right for Kris and Annie Yap to talk in private. Keeping their mouth shut to media to avoid their lives to be ”sensationalized” especially that Kris Aquino is not just a popular celebrity but also in a distinguished and prominent family.
