As the years pass by, free agents in NBA are piling up meanly because there are new players coming into league every year fresh and competitive skill-wise. Most of these free agents are not sure if they still have work in the coming 2010-2011 NBA Season which will start in November. Now the very big question is, are these free agents victim of their own undoings why it seemed that they can’t compete with the new comers?
Now, Mike Miller has a different situation because he is the one who is undecided whether to join the team willing to take him. So Mike Miller stays as a free agent hoping that a more lucrative offer would come.
The fact remains that Mike Miller is still one of the deserving good earning players. And my math says that Mike earned millions of dollars in his basketball career.
I would say that Mike Miller is no longer young at 30. This is not say he will bargain himself because Mike deserves more. Mike stands at 6’8″ and shoots well from the perimeter. Mike has all the attributes of a basketball superstar – the athleticism, and has the height to stand toe-to-toe with Kobe Bryant. Mike Miller has a very good amateur background. In fact, he is considered as an exceptional player even by his team mates.
Fifth in NBA draft pick, Mike Miller has an awesome first year of professional basketball having been honored by a prestigious award. Mike already played with several teams and his performance was stunning and admired many casual basketball fans including those who have a good understanding about the science of the sport.
A family man and a nature lover, Mike Miller deserves the best in life and I am one of those wanting him to land in a team where his talent is maximized and show to the world that he is indeed an elite professional basketball player.
