1992 Olympic Gold Medalist and former Teen Tennis Superstar Jennifer Capriati was rushed and admitted to a nearby hospital from a hotel in Riviera Beach, Florida this morning due to alleged possible drug overdose. Paramedics is not disclosing if the drugs she took are prescribed drugs or not.
Jennifer Capriati’s father told reporters that she is now recovering well and might be discharged in the next few days.
Paramedics told that a phone call came from a hotel in Riviera Beach, Florida regarding the incident, and immediately, Capriati was transported to a still undisclosed hospital.
Capriati won 14 tennis career titles with three Grand Slams (2001 and 2002 Australian Open, 2001 French Open). At 10, whose father is an Italian, Jennifer Capriati has been into serious tennis and was trained by Jimmy Evert, the father of another tennis superstar Chris Evert.
