Manny Villar – 2010 Presidential Bid Campaign Challenges
Manny Villar 2010 Presidential Campaign Latest News and Updates as of April 24, 2010 8PM GMT Singapore / Malaysia
At the early stage of Philippine National Election campaign which was started on February 9, 2010, Manny Villar was gaining momentum with his expensive campaign ads over TV, news papers, radio, internet, billboards, etc. In fact there were times where he and Noynoy were technically tied based on popular surveys conducted by survey giants. But as of this writing, and as the campaign advances, Noynoy Aquino started to pull away from the pack of 10 presidential candidates. Thanks and no thanks to his teams effort of digging deeper and exposed truths about Manny Villar’s seemingly exaggerated story about his life’s drama.
Here are some of the issues that many thinks, contributes to the weakening campaign of Manny Villar to become the next president of the Philippines.
The C-5 Road Extension Project
The C-5 Extension Project issue is undoubtedly poisoning to death the political ads of Manny Villar in the minds of viewers and electorates, thus, putting his campaign into a downward spiral. And it seems Manny Villar and his team can’t find an effective antidote to it.
With all the evidences presented and mentioned, only those who are not properly informed, and perhaps those benefiting from Manny Villar’s billions won’t believe the allegations. They can fool themselves, but not the Filipinos who have been thinkers and keenly observers.

The Villarroyo Conspiracy Theory
It is as clear as crystal that the GMA administration has a hand in the C-5 project, and that the double insertion of budget allocation to fund it is true after all. Add the situation that Gibo Teodoro is hardly winning the presidency because of many factors, then, the theory of a Villar – Arroyo (Villarroyo) conspiracy is strongly becoming believable. Why? Only Manny Villar has the chance of winning the presidency aside from Noynoy Aquino based on popular surveys. And only Villar can easily make compromises just to make his ambition a reality no matter what it takes.
Todate, Manny Villar has no clear answers for all the accusations thrown at him.
The Villar is a Liar Rhyme
The first time I saw Manny Villar interviewed in TV – mentioning about his rags to riches story – nobody in his right mind will not admire him. And I did admire him as someone who came from poverty, and now, a billionaire. But now that the truth about him was digged and exposed, my admiration to him was totally gone with the wind. He is now being called Villiar. Manny Villar is fooling us with his ads implying that he experienced swimming in floods full of garbage. Why fooling us? Because it turned out that Manny Villar’s teenage life wasn’t as hard as he is telling us through TV ads. While it’s true that He lived in Tondo, Manila, it is not true that their family lived poor because their house was a 3 story building. Adding insult to injury, Manny Villar studied in private schools from elementary to college.
