What transpired before Dragon Ball Kai 55? Immediately after the destruction of Namek, King Kai informs Bulma and the others on Earth of regarding the death of Goku. While it’s true that Namekian Dragon Balls have the capability to resurrect Goku and Krillin, it will be an exercise in futility as they be brought back to where Namek used to be and die again. Meanwhile, Vegeta suggests that Dragon Balls can bring Goku and Krillin’s souls to the Earth’s check-in station in the afterlife. After 130 days, indeed the Namekian Dragon Balls are back to active status, and the first two wishes are used to successfully bring to life Krillin, but it is revealed that Goku is still alive and that he will return to Earth on his own but exacly when, is not disclosed. Yamcha is then brought back to life with the third wish. After 130 days again, the Namekian Dragon Balls are used to revive both Tien and Chiaotzu, and are then used to teleport all of the Namekians without Piccolo to a brand new planet. As if the Z Fighters was able to return to their peaceful lives and now waiting for Goku to return.
